General Manager- ATL

We are seeking a new full-time General Manager to join the OnSight Family. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE SIGN INDUSTRY AND MANAGING A TEAM.

General Purpose

To manage, oversee, and assist with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the facility.

General Responsibilities

• Possess strong leadership ability, including time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Be a positive presence and team motivator, leading by example.
• Coordinate job scheduling and client communications to ensure maximum efficiency and timeliness.
• Proactively inspect orders (i.e., read install tasks/notes and review unclear projects before installation).
• Manage installation and production personnel to ensure completion of task(s).
• Communicate via daily team huddles to ensure a full understanding of the day’s jobs.
• Work with Lead Installers to train and groom the Install Team for success. Follow up with periodic job site visits to provide guidance and feedback.
• Monitor inventory, including production supply, lumber, hardware, and standard stock items, and relay order items to purchasing, following up as needed.
• Ensure team participation in Toolbox Talk and Safety Meetings as provided by the Safety Coordinator.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and safety.
• Handle personnel issues with Human Resources’ guidance and support.
• Participate in Monthly Operation Review meetings with other members of management.

To be successful in this position, you must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Strong knowledge of construction principles related to concrete pad forming and rough/finish carpentry is essential.
